What if you biggest problem is actually your biggest opportunity?

Are you tired of trying to figure out how to thrive with your business, career, or life?

Has your confidence eroded as you keep hitting roadblocks?

Or, do you already know you want to change your business, career, or life but aren’t sure in which direction and where to start?

I feel you!

For many years I was successful in my job, a happy mom and wife. But when my son and husband both became seriously ill, I switched to emergency mode and got stuck in that state for years.

As a result, I slowly lost sight of myself.

At work, I lost sight of my team, as I wasn’t able to communicate, lead, or set boundaries anymore as I was constantly worrying. I was controlled by fear. What would be the next bad thing to happen, how to handle the chaos it would bring? My attention was so focusing on problems (real or potential) that my energy was completely drained.

Outer circumstances seemed to dictate my life and my focus.

And as I was so busy, it was difficult to find the space and time to train my team and grow their competences.

In addition, being self-taught, I was doubting my capacity to create a potent working process. If only had I known back then, that I was managing better than I knew, that would have released some stress.

Communicating with my team was extremely difficult. Sometimes it felt like being in a loop, having the same discussions again and again, or had never-ending meetings with no results.

I struggled to make decisions and wasn’t trusting my intuition.

Even worse, I didn’t trust myself so I would doubt others. As a result, I didn’t want to delegate tasks and did many operative things by myself, micromanaging my team.

Does this sound familiar?

Eventually, I learned to take care of myself first which helped me to remain calm and centered even when things didn’t go to plan (what they mostly don’t…!). I am now able to feel and trust myself which also is the foundation of being the leader of my life. Instead of teaching leadership I model and live it now.

I also learned that sometimes slowing down and taking the time for adjustments and, even more important, listening instead of agitating actually helps me to reach my goals much faster and to reach them at all!

Looking back at my successes and all the things I learned and accomplished so far made me realize and honor that I am absolutely capable of doing the things I do and even can go far beyond.

That’s why MY MISSION is to help committed and successful people who, despite all of their external successes feel stuck and unfulfilled, to create success with more ease and joy both in business and in life!

Trust me; I used to believe all of those things too, but… here’s what I learned:

  • We are not born natural communicators! It is a skill you can learn and master. I turned my seemingly weak communication skills into a real strength by realizing that.
  • Taking the time to step back, reflect and restructure your work actually saves you a lot of time in the long run and makes things easier and a lot more fun. And giving yourself a structure that works for you is also a skill that can be learned.
  • Trusting yourself and listening to your intuition makes it much easier to know when you can trust others. Moreover, you don’t depend on the trustworthiness of others, but can rely on yourself!
  • Most of your energy goes to your resistance to your current circumstances. You don’t need to have more energy for making changes but redirecting your energy towards what you really want. That actually requires less energy than staying stuck where you are!

But the most important thing I learned was the art of COMPASSION

Forgiving myself for all of my perceived “failures” and recognizing, as Maya Angelou said, that I had “always done the best I could at any given time and when I knew better, I did better.”

After all, that’s how we ALL learn and grow.
